Wool & Prince
for Scotland Travel

What I packed, why it worked, and how it handled real Scotland conditions.

In Scotland, the weather shifts quickly — cool mornings, distillery afternoons, and relaxed dinners that call for something polished but unfussy.

When I planned our August 2024 journey, I needed pieces that could layer easily, handle Highland wind, and still feel intentional at the table.

Here’s what I packed and wore throughout the trip.

Why it worked for Scotland

Scotland rewards clothing that’s simple, adaptable, and comfortable enough to let you focus on the experience instead of the forecast.

For our August 2024 Scotland trip, I packed one Wool & Prince short-sleeve Henley, and it quickly became the backbone of my rotation. Relaxed enough for walking days, structured enough for distillery visits and long dinners.

The merino handled cool mornings and shifting weather without feeling heavy. With light layering, it transitioned easily from daytime exploring to evenings that called for a more elevated look.

It felt refined without being fussy — practical without looking technical.

What I personally packed

  • 1 Short-Sleeve Henley

  • Wore it across multiple dinners and tastings

If I were packing again, I’d bring two in different colors for easy rotation.
